I restored this stool that I had in my workshop back in Spain.
Before it was covered by paint products and rust.
I removed the rust, prepared the base with primer and painted it with spray gun and car matt paint.
I removed paint of the top, prepared surface with appropriate primer and painted it with air brush using masks. Then I applied varnish with an additive that will make it elastic after drying.
Then I put pieces back together and voilá, here we have our chequered stool to be used again.
